100% more keytar...

How this works.
Right now its the following:

[keytar] + [wireless midi to usb connection] + [Keytar Hero Program] + [GH for PC]

The inspiration for this was Midi Hero, which is very awesome and works for any Midi instrument. I didn't have the patience to figure out the XIM and other stuff needed to hook that up to the Xbox 360, so I'm settling for now with just the PC version. Not as cool, I know, but its still a lot of fun to play around with.

The Keytar Hero program handles the direct input of the keystrokes. Right now, the program allows you to map any keys on the keytar to the buttons you need for the game. So you can map every key (if you like) or just 5 keys you need to play. You can also decide which keys you want to use for Star Power and the menu directional keys

Big Thanks.
Midi Hero for proving to me this crazy idea could work
Bome's Midi Translator - A really cool program that was super helpful in prototyping
Geoff Evans - He does very cool things are puts up with me. He's also was willing to be in the YouTube video for me.
